 INVISIBLE ORTHODONTIC BRACES

INVISALIGN treatment is an almost invisible way of straightening your teeth. Thanks to the advanced 3D computer imaging technology, the orthodontist presents the patient with a complete treatment plan based on his recommendations. This is followed by the making of transparent overlays to suit a particular patient. The purpose of the overlays is to slowly move the teeth. Each overlay is worn for about two weeks, after which it is replaced with another overlay from the set, which further gradually moves the teeth towards the planned final position.
Invisalign overlays are used for controlled, gradual movement of the teeth. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign treatment controls not only the displacement range with each overlay, but also the displacement time. Therefore, only selected teeth can be moved at each stage of treatment, according to the INVISALIGN treatment plan specified for this stage. The overlays are made of robustthermoplastic material and are prepared for a specific patient providing an exact fit to his teeth.

FOR WHOM

Like any orthodontic treatment, INVISALIGN can be used on most teenagers and adults. What is more, various types of defects do not constitute any obstacles for the system (vertical bite, crevices, etc.). The final decision about qualification is made by an orthodontist based on an interview and examination.

ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM

INVISALIGN system – advantages:

  • the device is designed individually for each patient;
  • aesthetic value - overlays are almost invisible;
  • easy maintenance of oral hygiene and the system itself;
  • ease of use - the system is removable;
  • fewer follow-up visits;
  • the ability to accurately plan treatment along with visualisation of individual stages;

DURATION OF TREATMENT

The duration of treatment depends on the complexity of the case and is usually comparable with the time required during treatment with traditional apparatus. The orthodontist will provide more detailed information during the consultation.

FREQUENCY OF VISITS: 3-4 weeks, the visit time is much shorter than in the case of traditional braces.
